Coming soon

The FPR Guardian Fund will open applications for eligible single mothers, seniors, and veterans seeking professional firearm safety and self-defense training support. When applications open, this page will explain exactly what to expect and how to apply.

There is no application form at this time, and we are not collecting any information here. Please check back, or reach us at info@FPRGuardianFund.org with general questions about the program.

What to know before applications open

  • Submitting an application does not guarantee eligibility, approval, funding, provider placement, or a specific course date.
  • Training support has no cash value, is nontransferable, and may not be exchanged, redirected, or used for an unrelated purchase.
  • Applicants and participants must comply with applicable law and all participating-provider eligibility, identification, conduct, and safety requirements.
  • Program information and training are educational and do not constitute legal advice or guarantee any safety, defensive, or personal-security outcome.
  • Participating instructors and facilities provide training independently under their own professional responsibilities, policies, and safety procedures.

The program does not sell or provide firearms and does not fund the acquisition of firearms, ammunition, firearm parts, magazines, suppressors, or equipment intended to increase a firearm's firing capability. It does not issue participants cash, unrestricted retail credits, or purchase vouchers. Approved support may include professional instruction, range fees, personal protective equipment, secure-storage costs, and other training-related expenses expressly permitted by current written program guidelines. Approved costs are paid directly to participating providers or approved vendors.
